Green Purchasing

Green Purchasing:

There are many good items available and you do not need to compromise on quality or pay more. If you are not sure about an item, look for the internationally accepted "Eco-flower" label on the packaging or ask the supplier.

Research reported by the Environment Agency in January 2005 indicated that there was a clear link between sound environmental practice and business financial performance. The report provided strong evidence of higher financial returns, business opportunity and competitive advantage. It recommended looking at how goods are produced and the environmental practices of businesses from whom goods or services are purchased.

Reduce The Use was pleased that the Agency's Report included the following link: Reduce the Use - Website championing the needs of Micro Businesses
